Early voting for the May election began March 30, and by all accounts, half of Cuyahoga County voters will choose this option to cast their votes. This means that we must continue to be aggressive in reaching out to voters to encourage a YES vote on Issue 1 United for Jobs Ohio to authorize renewal and continuation of the highly successful Ohio Third Frontier (OTF) technology development and jobs program.
It’s been said that early voters are thoughtful voters who take time to understand issues. In this case, we should do very well with these folks. (Click here for information about voting early). The facts are overwhelmingly clear that the OTF is a boon to our economy, especially here in Northeast Ohio. In fact, it’s one of the most effective economic development tools we’ve ever had at our disposal.
Here at the GCP, we’re working with our members and the community at large to make sure the facts are known. The response has been very rewarding, but we simply can’t rest until the job is done. We’ve got all the campaign tools available – brochures, signs, fact sheets, testimonials. We’re just a click away through our Web site, www.gcpartnership.com/stateissue1.
