We’re going to provide you with something that nobody else will during this important 2010 election season in Ohio: INSTANT coverage and analyses that is totally geared toward how the candidates and the issues will affect the Northeast Ohio business community.
It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the growing sea of information-providers. The only way to maximize your time is to be selective. For years, we’ve provided you with a comprehensive election report that goes way beyond merely stating election results; it also successfully communicates the resulting implications to the business community. This year, we’re going to kick it up a notch.
We’ll still produce a comprehensive electronic election report the morning after the election (Nov. 3). We listen to our members, and, many of you have told us how much you like our report. (Remember when we mailed paper reports years ago?) We pull an all-nighter to put that report together, so it truly is comprehensive, because we continue to update it long past midnight. It’s complete and it’s designed to interpret the results and tell you what they mean.
But for those of you who can’t wait until morning, this year we will be giving you even faster reports. Our seasoned GCP Advocacy Election Team—proud political wonks all—will be blogging and tweeting throughout the night. These folks work all year on issues that are relevant to the business community, and they understand what decisions made in Columbus and Washington, D.C., mean to us here in Greater Cleveland.
We strongly encourage you to follow us on Twitter @GCPElectionNews or right here on the GCP blog page. We’ll post reports with increasing frequency as we get closer to the Nov. 2 General Election.
