Planning and Estimating Room Client Information

To be fully prepared, MBEs using the Commission on Economic Inclusion Planning and Estimating Room should bring the following to the appointment:

• Scope of work expected to be priced, including Bid Package information supplied by the construction management team, and, if available, exact drawing sheet numbers/Specification Section numbers pertinent to the Bid Package.
• Location of drawings and specifications, whether we have in-house at the Planning and Estimating Room, through the construction management companies' web portal, a local Plan Room (such as Cleveland Builders' Exchange), or available through SE Blueprint. You should have unit pricing from your suppliers for materials needed for your portion of the Bid Package in hand upon arrivals This unit pricing will be utilized in the Estimating Software.
• Labor pricing for all facets of construction related to what you are providing in your Scope of Work in hand upon arrival at the Plan Room. This labor pricing will be utilized in the Estimating Software.
  
  

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should have already reviewed and highlighted on their hard copy the areas required to be estimated per their Scope of Work on both drawings and specifications. This review is your responsibility, and you must do your due diligence prior to their meeting at the Planning and Estimating  Room. You are responsible for having a very good understanding through studying the information and have a plan of how you would accomplish the Scope of Work, should you win the bid.
