ACG Great Lakes Capital Connection

ACG Cleveland, the local chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, will host the inaugural Great Lakes Capital Connection Conference on Tues., Sept. 8, and Wed., Sept. 9, 2009. The conference will bring together private equity firms, investment bankers, financing sources, and other middle-market dealmakers from around the country to network, discuss deals and hear about the latest trends. The event is a collaboration among the Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh ACG Chapters. It will feature the following:

Tues., Sept. 8

  • A DealSource gathering at Cleveland Browns Stadium from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. during which investment banking firms and private equity groups from the Great Lakes region and beyond will have the opportunity to meet for half-hour conversations.
  • A Sponsor Reception cocktail event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Wed., Sept. 9

  • A breakfast program from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the main venue for the event, the Renaissance Hotel on Public Square in Cleveland, with guest speaker James Carville.
  • A lunch program from noon to 12:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel, with guest speaker Mary Matalin
  • Morning and afternoon educational panel presentations
  • A Capital Connection from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. featuring both regional and national private equity firms
  • Networking reception from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
