Many companies in Cleveland have adopted sustainable business practices resulting in increased profits, job creation, and a better Northeast Ohio. You are invited to learn more about these companies as they share some of their strategies and practices on Wed., April 29 at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District’s new LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified MC2 STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) High School on the GE Campus, 1975 Noble Road, Bldg. # 336, East Cleveland.
Business presenters include BrownFlynn, Forest City, GE Consumer & Industrial, Ozanne Construction Company, The Taylor Companies and Wal-Mart, along with local sustainability resources such as Entrepreneurs For Sustainability (E4S), MAGNET, Green Academy and WIRE-Net. Students from MC2 STEM will discuss their efforts over the past year to learn about sustainability. The panels will be moderated by Ideastream’s Dan Moulthrop.
Registration, lunch and a tour of the school will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m., followed by the program from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.). The event will conclude with an opportunity to network with presenters and students.
NOTE: There is no charge to attend, but you must RSVP below. Registration is limited to 60 attendees.
