A Dialogue on Cap & Trade

The debate over cap and trade in the U.S. has intensified since President Obama took office and made climate change legislation one of his top national priorities. Congress is currently considering legislation to limit greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the effects of pollution on our environment. A newly proposed national "cap and trade" system would set a government ceiling on emissions and allow companies emitting greenhouse gasses to buy and sell permits to meet the new regulations.

Please join us for a dialogue about this important issue featuring a panel of experts who will present a range of perspectives on the proposed cap and trade system and engage the public in an open discussion on this very timely topic.  Learn how it could impact you and your community.
