China Business Boot Camp
A "China Business Boot Camp" will be held Tues., Nov. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the GCP’s offices in The Higbee Bldg. on the second floor. This two-track program, presented by The China Business Network (TCBN), will include informational sessions for companies seeking to establish or enhance their presence in China. Speakers will be Northeast Ohio executives and professionals with on-the-ground China business experience. Limited to 60 attendees, the event will conclude with a reception to help attendees accelerate their networking.
The agenda includes:

Luncheon speaker Len Komoroski, president of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena, who will discuss cross-marketing and collaboration with Chinese investors
- An Orientation Track presentation focused on improving insight, confidence and effectiveness in working with Chinese people and organizations, as well as a basic grounding in Chinese history, geography, culture, economics and workplace norms

Implementation Track panel discussions on "Partnering for Success," Managing for Quality," and "Innovating with Trust"
The panels will feature executives and professionals from companies such as:
- Timken
- Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan and Aronoff
- SmartShape Design
- MASCO
- PNC
