Global Economic Forum Series "Leveling the Carbon Playing Field" presented by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs and The University of Akron College of Business Administration
Greater Cleveland Partnership Investor-level members are invited to the final program in the three-part Global Economic Forum Series featuring a presentation on "Leveling the Carbon Playing Field" by Trevor Houser, a visiting fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics. The forum will be held Friday, May 22 at the Sheraton Hotel, 5300 Rockside Road in Independence. Breakfast is at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Houser is a partner at the Rhodium Group (RHG), a New York-based research firm and adjunct professor at the City College of New York. His work focuses on energy markets, climate change, and the role emerging Asian countries play in both. The Peterson Institute for International Economics is the only major research institution in the U. S. devoted to international economic issues and is one of the very few economics think tanks widely regarded as nonpartisan by the press and neutral by the U.S. Congress.
