Cleveland Clinic "Ideas for Tomorrow" with Wal-Mart Exec. Committee Chair H. Lee Scott, Jr.

Greater Cleveland Partnership Investor-level members are invited to the next program in the Cleveland Clinic Ideas for Tomorrow Speaker Series featuring H. Lee Scott, Jr., chairman of the Executive Committee of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., on Wed., April 7 from 5 to 6 p.m. at the InterContinental Hotel’s Bank of America Conference Center.

Scott served as president and CEO of Wal-Mart from 2000 to February 2009, during which time the company emerged as the world’s largest retailer with more than 2 million associates serving customers and members more than 200 million times per week. Under his leadership, Wal-Mart assembled a strong team of senior leaders who transformed the business to thrive in a more complex, global environment, while keeping the company’s mission—“saving people money so they can live better”—relevant in a changing world.
