GCP "Meet the Chairman" Forum


Greater Cleveland Partnership Investor-level members are invited to our annual "Meet the Chairman" forum on Wed., Aug. 25 from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the GCP's offices in the Higbee Building. This is your opportunity to hear first-hand about GCP priorities from Board Chair William Christopher, president, Alcoa Engineered Products and Solutions, and express your opinion on topics such as:

  • Talent:  Supporting the Cleveland Metropolitan School District Academic Transformation Plan

  • Business Retention : Working to help Cleveland benefit from the Continental/United airlines merger

  • Physical Development:  Creating a “connection strategy” to leverage our existing assets and soon-to-be built downtown facilities including the Medical Mart and Convention Center and the Cleveland casino

  • Government Advocacy : Mobilizing efforts to advance “hot topics” on our advocacy agenda including:

    - Responding to Ohio’s fiscal crisis to create efficiency and accountability in state government

    - Advancing regional priorities through the Great Lakes Metro Chambers coalition

    - Building support among Ohio’s Congressional delegation for federal issues such as transportation, climate
      change and immigration

  • Cleveland Plus®:  “Passing the plus” to support regional marketing efforts

Parking:

For free Tower City valet parking, use the Prospect Avenue valet. Or park at M.K. Ferguson Plaza on West 6th Street. Be sure to bring your ticket with you for validation.
