Ohio Third Frontier Campaign Meeting

Ohio legislators have voted to place a $700 million, four-year renewal of the Ohio Third Frontier Program on the May 2010 ballot. This recent development is great news for the future of Ohio's high-tech economy. A campaign to raise awareness about Third Frontier will be ramping up around the state to help ensure the bond issue is successfully passed by Ohio voters in May.

On February 23, Northeast Ohio economic development organizations and the region's business chambers will host a public meeting with Ohio Third Frontier campaign leaders to provide current information about Third Frontier program and campaign. Our collective goal is to empower you to be an ambassador within your organization and community to help pass the bond issue. The meeting will also include:

  • A status update on campaign and ideas to "get out the vote" between now and May
  • Tools you can use to communicate with your networks and key audiences
  • Question-and-answer session

This event is hosted in partnership with NorTech, JumpStart, BioEnterprise, MAGNET, Team NEO, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, Stark Development Board, Inc., Greater Akron Chamber, Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce, Mansfield-Richland Area Chamber of Commerce, Wayne Economic Development Council, and Team Lorain County.
