Ohio's Budget: Impact on Northeast Ohio's business community

On June 9, Greater Cleveland Partnership staff and consultants will present an overview of House Bill 153 -- the state operating budget -- and lead a discussion about its impact on the Northeast Ohio business community. The GCP has joined with the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and numerous other business organizations to support passage of this historic legislation.

Through our coalition, Ohio’s Campaign for Jobs, we are working with key legislators and others to provide information and secure passage of the legislation. Many of the provisions in House Bill 153 are consistent with recommendations in the “Redesigning Ohio: Transforming Government into a 21st Century Institution” report published in December 2010 by Ohio’s metro chambers and the Ohio Chamber.
