Morning Conversation: State Senator Nina Turner

Greater Cleveland Partnership Investor members are invited to join the discussion at our next Morning Conversation event with State Senator Nina Turner.

Earlier this year, Senator Turner was selected by her peers to be the Minority Whip of the Ohio Senate. Assuming this leadership post, she will continue her efforts to maintain the economic security of the middle class.

Senator Turner has a distinguished career serving as a state senator, a member of Cleveland City Council member, advocate for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, and as a legislative aide in the Ohio Senate. In addition to her responsibilities in the Ohio Senate, she is a professor at Cuyahoga County Community College.

In this legislative session, Senator Turner has focused on initiatives related to education, regionalism, voting, employment, and sexual assault. She serves on multiple committees including the Senate Education Committee and serves as Ranking Minority Member on the State and Local Government and Veterans Affairs Committee.
