Promote Transparency and Awareness of Diversity Policies

The 2008 financial crisis caused widespread hardship to consumers and the financial services industry. Communities of color were disproportionately impacted both as consumers and employees of financial services companies. Likewise, large institutions’ efforts to utilize women-owned and minority-owned businesses decreased significantly during the economic downturn. Because of this, Section 342 of Dodd-Frank was created in 2010.

Morning Conversation: State Senator Larry Obhof

ObhofGreater Cleveland Partnership members are invited to a Morning Conversation with State Senator Larry Obhof, who represents the 22nd District, which includes Medina, Ashland and Richland counties, as well as portions of Holmes County.

Larry Obhof serves as President of the Ohio Senate for the 132nd General Assembly.  As the presiding officer of the 33-member Senate, Obhof is responsible for leading the Senate's Majority Caucus as it sets the policy agenda for the two-year legislative cycle.  He is also responsible for the formal organization of the chamber, including recognizing members in debate, preserving order and decorum, calling for votes and signing all acts.  Click to register.
