Utica Summit 2014: The Next Step in Oil and Gas Advocacy

Utica Summit 2014 is a daylong event that brings people together to talk about what can be done to fuel transportation across the United States with Utica energy, to build sustainable businesses powered by Utica energy, and to grow businesses that use Utica energy as its raw product to create industrial and consumer goods.

The event, presented by the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce and The Repository, will be held Wed.,October 23, 2013, at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

Circle Neighbors: Designing the Opportunity Corridor

"Circle Neighbors: "Designing the Opportunity Corridor” on Wed., October 9, features a panel discussion about the proposed $324 million Opportunity Corridor, linking Interstate 490 with University Circle, and its impact on various constituencies—from home owners, to neighborhoods, local businesses to University Circle employees and visitors.

Circle Neighbors is a free lecture series sponsored by the Women’s Council of the Cleveland Museum of Art in collaboration with the Cleveland Botanical Garden, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, The Women's Committee of The Cleveland Orchestra, and the Western Reserve Historical Society.

Morning Conversation: State Senator Frank LaRose

Greater Cleveland Partnerships members are invited to our next Morning Conversation program on Monday, October 7, with State Senator Frank LaRose, who represents the 27th Ohio Senate District, which includes portions of Summit and Stark counties and all of Wayne County.

He serves as chairman of the Public Safety, Local Government & Veterans Affairs Committee and is a member of the Transportation, State Government Oversight & Reform, and Finance committees and the Finance Subcommittee on Medicaid.

Opportunity Corridor Public Hearing

The Ohio Department of Transportation invites you to attend a Public Hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Opportunity Corridor Project.

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act , the hearing on Tuesday, October 1, will provide an opportunity for review and comment on the project’s DEIS and feedback through written or recorded verbal comments.
