Are you curious about the changes at The Plain Dealer and the start-up of the Northeast Ohio Media Group?
Greater Cleveland Partnership members are invited to a "Morning Conversation with Chris Quinn," vice president, content, for the Northeast Ohio Media Group (NEOMG), for candid, off-the-record dialogue about and insights into news coverage of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio.
Quinn is a long-time news veteran who currently leads the journalistic priorities and digital news strategy for the NEOMG, the digitally focused media company that launched in August 2013.
Together with The Plain Dealer Publishing Co., NEOMG is the No. 1 source of news and information in Northeast Ohio, serving more than 1.3 million readers in print and online.
Quinn is a seasoned journalist having worked at The Plain Dealer for over 17 years. In 2006, he began leading the newspaper's Metro operation, overseeing the newspaper’s coverage of such topics as the Cuyahoga County corruption crisis, the Anthony Sowell serial killings, the Chardon school shooting and a long stream of other enterprising stories including the Cleveland Clinic heart center project and an examination of the use of force by the Cleveland police department.
He also has been a weekly guest on WCPN’s Journalism Roundtable for more than three years.
