Marijuana Legalization: Will your business be impaired?

05.21.15 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM
Greater Cleveland Partnership, 1240 Huron Road East, Cleveland, OH 44115
Ohio currently has three ballot initiatives that are collecting signatures to legalize the cultivation, processing, transportation, distribution and sale of marijuana.

One group, Responsible Ohio, appears poised for the November 2015 statewide ballot. The proposed constitutional amendment is written in a way that blurs the line for employers regarding important workplace issues, including whether employers must allow marijuana smoking at work.

Please join us on Thursday, May 21 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Greater Cleveland Partnership Offices to hear both sides of the debate and how this ballot initiative could impact your company.

Our speakers (left to right):

  • Tony Coder, assistant director, Drug-Free Action Alliance: 8:05 to 8:35 a.m.
  • Ian James, executive director, Responsible Ohio: 8:35 to 9:05 a.m.
  • Dr. Ewald Horwath, chair, Department of Psychiatry, MetroHealth: 9:05 to 9:30 a.m.
