Morning Conversation: State Senator Larry Obhof

Greater Cleveland Partnership members are invited to join us for a Morning Conversation with State Senator Larry Obhof, who represents the 22nd District, which includes Medina, Ashland and Richland counties, as well as portions of Holmes County. He was recently appointed to serve as President Pro Tempore for the Ohio Senate.
Senator Obhof is focused on improving Ohio’s economy and creating opportunities for economic growth. He is an advocate of fiscal responsibility, smaller government and lower taxes. He is the vice chair of the Senate Criminal Justice Committee. He also serves on the Government Oversight and Reform Committee, Civil Justice Committee, Ways and Means Committee, Financial Institutions Committee, Rules and Reference Committee, and the Finance Corrections Subcommittee.
In addition to his legislative duties, Senator Obhof is an attorney and was part of the legal team that challenged the constitutionality of President Obama’s health care law on behalf of a small business association and 26 states. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he has taught courses on legislation and civil procedure. He graduated with degrees in economics, history, and political science from The Ohio State University and earned his law degree from Yale University.
