Greater Cleveland Partnership members are invited to join us for a Morning Conversation with Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-12).

Congressman Dave Joyce will also be in attendance at this program.

About the Speaker

Congressman Pat Tiberi is a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee that has jurisdiction over tax issues, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and trade agreements.

He is chairman of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Health where he is working to improve the quality, affordability, and accessibility of healthcare.  He also serves on the Subcommittee on Tax Policy.

Through his leadership on the Ways and Means Committee, Congressman Tiberi led the effort to extend tax provisions that increase investment in community and economic development.

His bill, the New Markets Tax Credit Extension Act, laid the groundwork for a five-year extension of the tax credit, which helps attract private capital to some of the most distressed communities in the country where access to capital is often limited. As vice chairman of the Joint Economic Committee, Congressman Tiberi also works with members to examine economic policy and how to help grow the economy.

Congressman Tiberi has been a lifelong resident of the 12th Congressional District and began his career in public service as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a 1985 graduate of The Ohio State University and was a member of the OSU Marching Band. He currently resides in Genoa Township with his wife and four daughters.
