Greater Cleveland Partnership members are invited to join us for a morning conversation with State Rep. Kirk Schuring (R-48).
Since joining the Ohio General Assembly in 1993, Representative Schuring has maintained a strong focus on core economic development issues.
Legislation he has championed includes the establishment of the Historic Preservation Tax Credit, Joint Economic Development Districts and Cooperative Economic Development Agreements to help further development in communities across the state.
He has been recognized by various associations because of his legislative work, including the Ohio Federation of Teachers, the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation and the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers. A lifelong resident of Stark County, he graduated from Perry High School and attended Kent State University. He is married and has two children.
