Annual Meeting – GCP
This year’s meeting will be held in March at the newly remodeled Hanna Theatre at Playhouse Square. This event attracts between 400-500 GCP members. Exposure opportunities will include logo and company name on the mailed invitations, GCP Web site and e-mail invitations before the event, as well as signage at the event, in the program and recognition in the presentation.
Annual Meeting - Commission on Economic Inclusion
A key priority of GCP, the Commission on Economic Inclusion seeks to ensure the full participation by minority businesses and individuals in the economic engines that drive Northeast Ohio. This event honors eight premier Northeast Ohio companies for their efforts around Economic Inclusion. Awards are presented for “Best in Class” performance. Approximately 250 majority and minority members of GCP attend the event held in May. Exposure opportunities will include logo and company name on the mailed invitations, GCP Web site and e-mail invitations before the event, as well as signage at the event, in the program and recognition in the presentation. Sponsors will also have their names and logos on each of the awards.
Annual Meeting - Build Up Greater Cleveland (BUGC)
This annual meeting highlights the work that GCP does through the BUGC coalition of public entities to build consensus and advocate in procuring necessary legislative support and financing to bring vital infrastructure projects to fruition in Northeast Ohio. Over 100 GCP members and representatives from public agencies attend the event. Exposure opportunities will include logo and company name on the mailed invitations, GCP Web site and e-mail invitations before the event, as well as signage at the event, in the program and recognition in the presentation.
Diversity Professionals Conference
The Commission on Economic Inclusion holds an annual Diversity conference to Commission half day annual conference for diversity professionals
August 2010, Corporate College East. The focus of the event is to present trends and best practices related to effectively managing and capitalizing on diversity and inclusion in the workplace. National and local experts make presentations and facilitate breakout sessions. 185 diversity professionals attended the 2009 event on cultural competence. Attendees were from across the region and included chief diversity officers and senior HR professionals.
Higbee Building Window Display
This unique opportunity enables a state-of-the-art window display on the busiest corner in Cleveland! High Definition projectors can integrate your message with that of GCP and its partners onto the windows at the corner of Euclid and Ontario Avenues on Public Square. Permanent logo placement on both Ontario and Euclid Avenue is good for one year from initial placement.
Insider Forum
This event is an opportunity for GCP members to get an inside look at ongoing and upcoming GCP initiatives and to provide feedback to GCP leadership. The event is run by GCP’s President & CEO, Joe Roman as well as Board Chairman, Henry Meyer, III, Chairman, President & CEO of KeyCorp. The event attracts over 100 GCP members. Exposure opportunities include logo and company name on the GCP Web site and e-mail invitations before the event, as well as signage and recognition at the event.
Morning Conversation Series
This series of ten breakfast meetings throughout the year are a chance for GCP members to have an off-the-record discussion with local public officials. This is a chance for members to hear directly from – and give feedback to – elected office-holders on issues related to business. Speakers range from city council members to members of congress, based on topical relevance and availability throughout the year. These events typically draw 25 to 35 GCP members per meeting. Exposure opportunities include logo and company name on the GCP Web site and e-mail invitations before the event, as well as signage and recognition at the event.
Public Officials Reception
This annual event will be held for the 46th consecutive year in 2009. It is an annual tradition that kicks off the holiday season the Friday before the Thanksgiving holiday in November. Over 700 people traditionally attend the event, which includes elected officials from Northeast Ohio as well as business leaders from the region. Exposure opportunities include logo and company name on the mailed invitations, GCP Web site and e-mail invitations before the event, as well as signage and an ice sculpture of your logo at the event.
Public Policy Agenda
This bi-annual brochure highlights the agenda and topics GCP’s Government Advocacy team will address for the next two years. The brochure is part of the membership packet that all new members receive and is available on GCP’s Web site in electronic format. Exposure opportunities include logo and company name on the back cover of the brochure, as well as a live link from your Web site to GCP’s online version of the electronic document.
Web tiles on GCP Home Page and E-newsletters
GCP will be offering advertising Web tiles on both the GCP Web site and monthly E-newsletters. This opportunity is open to only one vendor per month. The GCP Home Page averages over 4,500 hits per month. The monthly GCP E-newsletters are sent to approximately 3,000 GCP members and the list continues to grow.
