Cleveland Plus Merchandise Shows Regional Pride

Cleveland, March 5, 2008 - Those living and working in the Cleveland Plus region now have one more way to share regional pride. The first line of Cleveland Plus logoed merchandise was unveiled today at the Greater Cleveland Partnership's annual meeting. 

Created as an additional way for people to rally around the new spirit of regionalism in Northeast Ohio, the logoed items, available at www.clevelandplus.com, include: Polo shirts, golf balls, pens, calculators, lapel pins and stainless steel travel mugs, among others.

"The merchandise was created to offer an easy way for everyone to share regional pride," said Rick Batyko, spokesperson for the Cleveland Plus campaign. "In addition to wearing the gear to support the region, the fun, casual items can be used as keepsakes for visitors, prizes for fundraiser attendees and even as attire for locally hosted reunion-goers."

Residents, students and employers within the region can directly access and purchase the branded merchandise at www.clevelandplus.com. Meant to be one more way to spread the good news to the people who live, work, learn and play in the Cleveland Plus region, all in-stock merchandise is available at a reduced retail price, with no minimum order required.

This merchandise, along with additional items, is also customizable for companies and organizations, who are encouraged to use them as employee incentives and giveaways. Human resources managers and recruiters can utilize the items to remind potential employees about what the region has to offer. In addition, employees can wear Cleveland Plus logoed gear while representing their local branch or division at a national or international meeting or conference.
