Greater Cleveland Partnership Political Action Committee Endorses State House and Supreme Court Races

Cleveland, October 22, 2008 - Members of the Greater Cleveland Partnership Political Action Committee (GCP PAC) announced a slate of endorsements for selected Northeast Ohio state legislative races and the Ohio Supreme Court. Criteria for endorsement included:

  • candidate responses to a GCP PAC questionnaire
  • legislative voting records
  • accessibility
  • positions on public policy issues important to the Northeast Ohio business community

The endorsed candidates are:

State Senate District 24 - State Representative Tom Patton (R)
State House District 7 - State Representative Kenny Yuko (D)
State House District 8 - State Representative Armond Budish (D)
State House District 11 - State Representative Sandra Williams (D)
State House District 13 - State Representative Mike Skindell (D)
State House District 14 - State Representative Mike Foley (D)
State House District 15 - State Representative Tim DeGeeter (D)
State House District 16 - Nan Baker (R)
State House District 17 - State Representative Josh Mandel (R)
State House District 18 - Colleen Grady (R)
State House District 57 - Dan Urban (R)
State House District 62 - State Representative Lorraine Fende (D)
State House District 98 - State Representative Matt Dolan (R)

The GCP PAC also endorsed State Supreme Court incumbents Justices Evelyn Lundberg Stratton and Maureen O'Connor. 

About the GCP PAC:  The GCP PAC is funded through the individual contributions of GCP staff and members, as well as through special events that benefit the PAC.  Contributions are voluntary.  Corporate checks are prohibited.
