Cleveland, Ohio - The Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) strongly supports NASA and the exploration mission in which Glenn Research Center and its Plum Brook Station are playing a critical role.
We welcome the proposed independent review of ongoing U.S. human space flight development activities by a blue-ribbon team of experts and believe the results will demonstrate the national importance of the work done at these Northeast Ohio NASA facilities.
The GCP will work to ensure that Glenn Research Center and Plum Brook Station continue to play a significant role in NASA’s human spaceflight development activities consistent with the outcome of the review. Additionally, we will look for opportunities to expand Northeast Ohio’s competencies in aeronautics and alternative energy provided at Glenn and Plumbrook in accordance with the agency’s mission.
We have unique and world-class treasures in the Glenn Research Center and Plum Brook. The GCP believes both facilities could be leveraged for the benefit of the region and for the future of our nation’s space exploration mission.
