Greater Cleveland Partnership reaches 2009 United Way goal

Cleveland, Ohio—The Greater Cleveland Partnership is pleased to announce that it has reached its 2009 United Way goal of $58,000. Campaign dollars earned through employee pledges, raffle ticket purchases and participation in stress ball bowling and Wii competitions totaled $58,096.16.

“During this time when so many people are facing economic hardships, our staff continued to be generous by giving to others in need,” said GCP President and CEO Joe Roman. “We thank everyone for their generosity and look forward to next year’s campaign.”

As an association of business members, the Greater Cleveland Partnership mobilizes private-sector leadership, expertise and resources to create jobs and leverage investment to improve the economic vitality of the region.
