GCP supports Gov.-elect Kasich's plans to refocus Dept. of Development

Cleveland, Ohio—“The Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) welcomes Governor-elect John Kasich’s business-like approach to government. The GCP recently joined with the other major Ohio chambers of commerce and jointly produced a 48-page report outlining suggestions for cutting costs and thinking differently within Ohio’s state government.

“Ohio needs job creation, and we support the governor-elect’s desire to refocus the Department of Development upon that crucial and vital goal. The time has come to introduce more business-like approaches to economic development, and we look forward to working with them as their plans evolve.”
