Northern Ohio Minority Business Council

The GCP is a corporate member of the Northern Ohio Minority Business Council (NOMBC), which certifies minority businesses and facilitates relationships between its corporate members and Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). It also advocates and coordinates MBE development efforts and provides access to educational, managerial and technical assistance.

MWV Pinnacle Fund

To help support the growth of high-potential, minority-owned businesses, the GCP helped to launch the MWV Pinnacle Capital Fund under the direction of GCP board member A. Malachi Mixon, chairman and CEO of Invacare Corporation. MWV is a $25 million venture capital fund created to help minority-owned firms grow to scale and compete more effectively on a regional, national and international basis. Urban League of Greater Cleveland Multicultural Business Center

Urban League

The Urban League's Multicultural Business Center offers guidance and assistance to business owners spanning their entire life cycle—from  entrepreneurs wanting to explore a  business idea to existing business owners looking to take their businesses to the next level. 

 

Consortium of African American Organizations

CAAO

The Consortium of African American Organizations (CAAO) serves as a conduit and referral to existing resources for entrepreneurial development, professional development and leadership empowerment for its member organizations, which regularly communicates with more than 30,000 black professionals.

 

Hispanic Business Association

The Hispanic Business Association promotes Hispanic business interests and economic development through strategic partnerships, technical assistance and advocacy.  It offers workshops and seminars to effectively integrate participants into the larger economy. Immigrant Minority Business Alliance

The Immigrant Minority Business Alliance works to re-establish Northeast Ohio as an economic catalyst for legal immigrants and minority populations through technical assistance, public education, and advocacy. For more information, call (216) 281-3841.
