BUGC's 2009 Annual Meeting, held Wed., July 15, at Windows on the River, highlighted catalytic infrastructure investment throughout Greater Cleveland. Guests were treated to a captivating video that showcased BUGC stakeholders and partners and their various capital infrastructure projects. Interim Chair Debbie Berry and Michael McCarthy, the new chair, provided a comprehensive overview of the BUGC program and the role it plays in advancing infrastructure and transportation projects. Greater Cleveland Partnership President and CEO Joe Roman challenged those present to leverage our physical assets by "Putting the Pieces Together." Lastly, keynote speaker Robert Puentes, a fellow with the Brookings Institution Metropolitan Policy Program, provided an engaging presentation on "A New 21st Century Vision for Transportation Policy."
