CDA

Cleveland Development Advisors, Inc. (CDA) is a GCP affiliate that manages private-sector investment capital to advance economic and community development in the City of Cleveland. Since its creation in 1989, CDA has directly invested more than $100 million and leveraged more than $1.5 billion in new investments, providing vital gap financing to real estate projects that provide economic impact.  Its core mission is "to invest in and support targeted catalytic real estate projects designed to become anchors that attract further development of comparable quality, which will improve the character and vitality of the region."

Growth Capital Corp. was founded in 1982, as a Certified Development Company, extending financial assistance to local businesses with a focus on job creation in Northeast Ohio.  It provides creative financing solutions to growing businesses through its SBA 504 and Ohio Regional 166 loan programs in conjunction with local bank lenders.  It maintains an affiliation with GCP and seeks to be the premier provider of economic development financing in Ohio.      

Neighborhood Progress, Inc. (NPI)

Neighborhood Progress Inc. (NPI) is a nonprofit intermediary organization formed by the business and philanthropic communities to raise investment dollars and fund human capital in support of community development corporations (CDCs) by providing grants, training and research to select CDCs.  In addition, NPI advances neighborhood revitalization through its two subsidiaries:  Village Capital Corporation and New Village Corporation.  Village Capital Corporation provides gap funding and early stage capital for a variety of neighborhood real estate development projects.  New Village Corporation develops large-scale real estate projects in joint venture with community development corporations.  NPI works with the GCP to address the region's challenges.         

ShoreBank Enterprise Group

ShoreBank Enterprise Cleveland (SEC) is a nonprofit business development organization that works in Cleveland neighborhoods along with its sister organization, ShoreBank.  SEC focuses on city-based, early-stage and growing companies, especially minority-owned firms and those located on the east-side.  Established by city, civic, corporate and foundation leaders who saw a need to focus on the core city, SEC utilizes two investments funds to provide working capital loans, lines of credit and equity investments to companies that are not ready for traditional bank financing.  Customers receive technical assistance and brokered workforce solutions that help each business become more competitive and profitable.  Finally, businesses can find affordable commercial space in SEC’s Enterprise Center – a facility that fosters business development in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood.  ShoreBank's success is important to the GCP's ability to achieve strategic objectives.

Downtown Cleveland Alliance

DCA

Downtown Cleveland Alliance is the not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a dynamic downtown. It is committed to making downtown Cleveland the most compelling place to live, work and visit in the region.

Downtown Cleveland Alliance, working hand in hand with downtown property owners, creates forums for communication & involvement by a diverse group of downtown stakeholders, including local development corporations, city and county governments, civic and arts organizations, residents, young professionals and business stakeholders. Through the collaboration of these groups, DCA strives to enhance the quality of life by implementing initiatives like the Clean & Safe Program, economic development assistance, marketing & special events, advocacy and strategic projects.
