Pushing back against proposed NASA Glenn budget cuts

In this week’s “GCP Insight” interview, Greater Cleveland Partnership Senior Vice President Marty McGann talks about the NASA John H. Glenn Research Center’s significant economic impact—about $1.2B annually—on Greater Cleveland and why the organization is pushing back on the proposed $60MM cut in NASA Glenn’s budget. McGann notes that Senator Rob Portman, Congressman Dave Joyce and others in the Ohio congressional delegation are working on this issue.

The GCP has been a leading advocate for the preservation and expansion of the Glenn Research Center, which, in addition to its economic impact, has attracted top talent to its workforce and continues to be a source of pride for our community citizens. We will continue to speak out on behalf of this important local asset.
