Marie Kittredge, project director, Opportunity Corridor, provides an update on the project's progress in a conversation with “GCP Insight” host Steve Luttner, vice president of Lesic and Camper.
Extending from I-490 at East 55th Street to East 105th Street, the Opportunity Corridor will offer quicker, more direct access to University Circle, a home to world-class cultural institutions, a university and, the robust core of Cleveland’s growing health care industry.
The three-mile boulevard also will provide improved connectivity to and through the Slavic Village, Central, Kinsman and Fairfax neighborhoods. Construction on the first phase, the widening of East 105th Street, begins in the fall with completion in 2016.
