The highly anticipated Heinen’s at The 9 opened last week to enthusiastic accolades. Cleveland Development Advisors (CDA), the GCP’s real estate and business finance affiliate, provided a $7 million New Markets Tax Credit allocation and $6 million in direct financing for this truly catalytic project. GCP Board member Dr. Alex Johnson, president of Cuyahoga Community College (photo right), and Gareth Vaughan, president of The A.M. Higley Company (photo left), have agreed to serve as the new co-chairs of the Commission on Economic Inclusion’s Construction Diversity & Inclusion (CDI) initiative.
Outgoing co-chairs Natoya Walker-Minor, chief of public affairs, City of Cleveland, and Anthony Panzica, president and CEO, Panzica Construction Company, will continue as members of the CDI Executive Committee and the Commission’s Advisory Board. Read more.
