The highly anticipated Heinen’s at The 9 opened last week to enthusiastic accolades. The supermarket provides a critical amenity to support the growing downtown population and completes the transformation of the vacant Ameritrust complex into a vibrant mixed use development.
Cleveland Development Advisors
(CDA), the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s real estate and business finance affiliate, provided a $7 million New Markets Tax Credit allocation and $6 million in direct financing for this truly catalytic project.
The 9 complex includes 194 apartment units, a 156-room luxury hotel, and 70,000 square feet of retail and commercial space including the Heinen’s supermarket and offices Downtown Cleveland Alliance offices.
