Cleveland Plus region featured in United’s in-flight magazine worldwide
Unveiling to be held tomorrow at Global Center for Health Innovation
Cleveland, Ohio—All passengers flying United Airlines’ “friendly skies” in February 2014 will have the opportunity to learn why the Cleveland Plus region is a great place in which to live, work and invest.
Dossier Cleveland, a 56-page supplement in United’s monthly Hemispheres magazine, will be onboard each of United’s 5,300 daily flights to more than 360 airports across six continents. The airline serves more than 11 million passengers each month.
More than 250 Northeast Ohio business and community leaders will gather for the celebratory unveiling of the publication on Thursday, January 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Global Center for Health Innovation in downtown Cleveland.
“This is a tremendous opportunity for Cleveland and all of Northeast Ohio to showcase the unique initiatives that are shaping our industry and commerce, as well as the region’s influence on today’s global economy,” said Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) President and CEO Joe Roman. “We’ve got a great story to tell and we’re pleased to share it with United’s global audience.”
Hemispheres sought GCP’s assistance with identifying and connecting with the region’s business and thought leaders. The Regional Marketing Alliance also helped to shape the regional story lines. Additional input from Team NEO, which provided a snapshot of the region’s economy, helped tell a very compelling story about Northeast Ohio for this special section.
Dossier Cleveland is the fifth such supplement to be included in Hemispheres magazine. It surpassed the 40-page count of earlier editions that featured Tampa Bay, New Jersey, Louisiana and Kentucky in 2013.
