About the Commission|Commission on Economic Inclusion Best Practices Repository

Created in December 2000, the Commission on Economic Inclusion, a program of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, is a broad-based coalition of more than 100 Northeast Ohio employers who are committed to making the region's diversity a source of economic strength. Our members have a combined workforce of close to 160,000 individuals in Northeast Ohio and more than 560,000 employees throughout the U.S. The Commission serves as a catalyst for advancing economic inclusion in the Northeast Ohio Business community.

Mission:  “To convene, champion and leverage the region’s assets to achieve measurable demonstrated increases in minority representation in boards, senior management, workforce, and supplier diversityspend.”

Vision:  “To make Northeast Ohio the best region in the country for the inclusion of minority individuals and businesses in the economic engines that drive our competitiveness.”
