Commission on Economic Inclusion members are committed to using self-directed best efforts to create implement and achieve diversity and inclusion goals within their organizations. As assistance, the Commission offers its member several benefits and resources to help them develop goals and produce measurable results.

Networking & Education

The Commission's Diversity Professionals Group provides an opportunity for HR and diversity professionals from member organizations to participate in a quarterly forum for problem-solving, the sharing of best practices, networking and participating in educational programming about diversity and inclusion issues.

Best Practices & Metrics

Our analysis of the annual Employers Survey on Diversity™ reflects aggregate data and diversity trends for boards of directors, senior staff, workforce, expenditures with minority-owned businesses, and the prevalence of local employers' diversity and inclusion policies and practices.

In addition to a confidential, comparative individual scorecard, members receive a listing of actionable diversity strategies, with annual updates, to help set and achieve diversity and inclusion goals.

Connect with Minority Businesses

The Commission’s Chief Procurement Officers Group meets quarterly with goals of: (1) serving as a resource to increase timely access to local suppliers with capability and capacity; (2) identifying common needs within the group and creative ways for diverse suppliers to fulfill those needs; and (3) providing data by which organizations can monitor supplier diversity efforts.

Set Commission Priorities

By working on one of the Commission's volunteer committees, Commission-member CEOs and their senior-level, HR, diversity, purchasing communications, and/or community relations staff can help set the Commission's priorities and oversee their implementation.
