Business Pitch Showcase will take place on August 19-20 
CLEVELAND, OH, July 18, 2019– The Cleveland Chain Reaction partners have identified 20 companies to advance in the neighborhood economic development project. Nineteen of these companies have accepted the invitation to the Chain Reaction Small Business Boot Camp. Completion of this boot camp qualifies the companies for the Business Pitch Showcase scheduled for August 19-20.  

Collinwood, an east side neighborhood in the city of Cleveland, has been selected as the host neighborhood for Cleveland Chain Reaction’s third season and will serve as the new home for the companies that receive investment.  

The 19 boot camp participants represent a variety of industries serving both current and emerging markets with products and services that range from food and hard goods manufacturing to technology and healthcare.  Each company was selected for its potential growth and impact on jobs and investment in Collinwood.

The Small Business Boot Camp began on July 12th and runs through August 16th. Facilitated by JumpStart, the boot camp will include Cleveland Chain Reaction history and overview, project partner roles, investor and entrepreneur relations, organizational financials, investment deals, company valuations and business pitch preparations.   
As collaborative partners for Chain Reaction, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, COSE, and JumpStart, selected the host neighborhood and evaluated more than 60 business applications for this season.
