Business, political leaders connect at 51st annual Public Officials Reception
Many thanks to our members for making the Greater Cleveland Partnership's 51st annual Public Officials Reception a tremendous success! More than 550 Northeast Ohio business and community leaders and elected officials attended the event last Friday at Windows on the River.

GCP, other Ohio metro chambers voice support for Common Core's higher learning standards
The GCP has joined seven other Ohio metro chambers and the Ohio Chamber of Commerce to submit a joint memorandum to the Ohio House Rules Committee “to indicate our collective opposition to House Bill 597, the legislation that would eliminate the Common Core standards that were duly authorized and implemented for the past four years in Ohio."

Election 2014: We'll discuss the story behind the numbers
The Greater Cleveland Partnership's Government Advocacy Team will be working into the night on Tuesday to produce a special report for GCP members that looks at the results of local and statewide races and ballot issues and what they mean to the Northeast Ohio business community.
