Issue 4: How CMSD levy funds will be used

The Greater Cleveland Partnership has endorsed and is encouraging YES vote on Issue 4, the Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) capital levy, whose funds will help ensure that CMSD students are educated in an optimal learning environment.

The levy will generate about $200 million of revenue for construction and another $2.5 million annually for maintenance. The CMSD facilities plan calls for 22 new schools to be built.

JobsOhio accelerating growth of middle-market companies

JobsOhio’s impact on middle-market companies during the first half of 2014 was discussed at the organization’s quarterly public meeting, and the results are impressive. They include:

Projects won (total 159): 54 percent were with middle-market companies; and jobs created in projects won (total 13,092), 48 percent were with middle-market companies. Read more.
