Several signs indicate there will be a state capital bill in early 2014. Governor Kasich’s office asked the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP) to assist in the review process by serving as the local point of contact for organizations that wish to request funds for eligible economic development projects.

Speaking on behalf of the Great Lakes Metro Chambers Coalition, GCP Senior Vice President of Advocacy Carol Caruso participated in a panel discussion hosted by the Canadian Studies Center at Michigan State University on October 10.
The conference examined public policy issues and business development opportunities in the Great Lakes region and explored ways in which the Great Lakes states and Canada can collaborate to achieve common goals.
