Congressional reauthorization of EB-5 investment program important to Cleveland

In this week’s “GCP Insight” video, Steve Strnisha, CEO of the Cleveland International Fund (CiF), discusses how CiF investments through the EB-5 program in have been essential in moving several catalytic Cleveland projects forward and in creating about 12,000 jobs.

Recent projects include Flats East Bank Phases 1 and 2, the Westin Downtown Cleveland hotel, the Uptown expansion in University Circle and the Crocker Park expansion that will include new headquarters for American Greetings. CiF investments total about $220 million.

Strnisha says that congressional reauthorization of the EB-5 program is essential for the CiF to continue its support of an array of projects that are helping to change the face of Cleveland . The current three-year authorization ends September 30. Click to watch.
