For the fifth straight month, United Airlines’ Cleveland's flight operations team was No. 1 for getting out the airline’s first flights of the day as scheduled. Of the flights that left Cleveland before 9 a.m. in August, 87.5 percent were on time.
The CLE team topped its peers at all other United hubs including Washington Dulles, San Francisco and Newark.
Using a variety of staff activities to supplement pledges, GCP reached its 2013 United Way goal, raising a total of $48,300 during its four-week Stellar Campaign.
The 2013 total topped last year’s fund raiser that collected close to $47,160.
A travel story recently posted on the Huffington Post website gives Cleveland extremely high marks noting that it “appreciates its past while embracing the renewal of the future and that it “has aged well into a modern, global and down-to-earth city.”
