GCP Board news: Two new members appointed

The Greater Cleveland Partnership Board of Directors approved the appointment of two new Board members at its quarterly meeting last week: Charles E. (Chuck) Jones, president and CEO of FirstEnergy, and Rear Admiral June Ryan, Commander, Ninth Coast Guard District, U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security.

Learn how your company can access workforce training money

More than 122,000 Ohio employees already have been trained through the Ohio Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program. That number will increase because Round 4 begins soon.

Businesses can begin the online application process next Monday, September 28, and will have more than two weeks to gather the necessary information to complete their request.  Click for details.

Discovering identity and a possible career path

True2U, a collaborative career exploration/volunteer mentoring program for 800 Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) eighth-graders was launched last week with a kickoff event at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
