Save the date for the GCP Annual Meeting!

This year's flagship event will be virtual!

It is a pivotal time in our region, in our state and in our country. Now is the time to move past conversations and commitments to real formidable action for the betterment of our people, our businesses, and Northeast Ohio as a whole.  Yes, the Greater Cleveland Partnership Annual Meeting has long been an opportunity for the business community to come together to celebrate the region’s accomplishments and to discuss with great excitement, what’s next?  And yes, we are certainly a region that has made incredible strides to rebuild and reposition ourselves over the last several years.  However, with everything going on in our country and the great impact on Greater Cleveland, we found it imperative that we use our 2020 Greater Cleveland Partnership Annual Meeting as a place to have the difficult, uncomfortable, yet needed conversations about how we address and remedy the many systemic issues that are holding us back. Putting the issues out there in plain sight and focusing on “the what” is key, but talking about “the how” is of the greatest significance.

We are proud to welcome a series of leaders from across the country to our Annual Meeting to share their perspectives, their ideas, and their thoughts on the future. They will educate, inspire, and call all of us to action as we come together as the business community to promote real change across Northeast Ohio.  We are all in this together and to be successful, we will need your support, your voice, your engagement and your participation. This is our time and our chance to leave a legacy and secure a future for generations to come.

The Greater Cleveland Partnership invites you to join us for our Annual Meeting and to continue with us on the journey as we work together to build OUR Cleveland into what it’s meant to be.

We will also take some time to show our gratitude for three very important leaders:  Our outgoing GCP Chairman Scott Chaikin, Executive Chairman of Dix & Eaton, who led the organization through a strategic planning process and brand refresh to strongly position GCP and our work for years to come; our new GCP Chairman Eric Schnur, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Lubrizol Corporation who will take the helm during a significantly important time for the business community and our region; and our President & CEO Joe Roman who is retiring following a 36-year career in economic development in Greater Cleveland.
