The critical and urgent issue of Cleveland’s digital divide remains a leading member-driven priority for GCP. As part of our work to prioritize and accelerate the closure of the region’s digital divide, GCP, in partnership with Eaton, has teamed up with PCs for People. The primary mission of PCs for People is to get affordable computers and Internet access into the hands of low-income families and individuals.

The organization provides free pick up and recycling of electronic waste from businesses and refurbishes desktop and laptop computers for distribution to residents in need. So far, 33 Greater Cleveland companies have signed up to donate devices. Thanks to these companies over 1,100 computers have been donated. With over 2,000 Cuyahoga County residents signed up to receive a device, the need is still great.

Your company can help bridge the gap by signing up to donate old devices today. Click here to learn more or contact PCs for People directly at bmauk@pcsforpeople.com.
