Greater Cleveland Partnership's President and CEO Joe Roman talked with WTAM host Bill Wills this morning about Ohio's economy slowly beginning to open on May 1. There is a lot of desire to reopen, but it needs to be phased and thoughtful in the approach. We anticipate receiving guidance and protocols next week on how to safely and slowly return to work.
Cleveland is a strong and diverse manufacturing city. Several businesses of all sizes are switching gears and operations to provide the necessary equipment needed for our front line workers. GCP recently launched a B2B portal to connect these providers of essential supplies with those companies that continue to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, Wills and Roman discussed the census and primary election and the importance of having the appropriate congressional representation to protect the Great Lakes.
And for more COVID-19 information and up-to-date resources for the business community, GCP has created a dedicated news page. Check back for daily updates to help you stay informed and give you access to relevant resources as this situation continues to unfold.
