GCP president and CEO Joe Roman joined WTAM host Bill Wills this morning to discuss the latest update from Governor DeWine on the Coronavirus pandemic. With the numbers rising, there are concerns that businesses, such as bars, restaurants and gyms, could be forced to close again. Another shutdown for our economy will have an even greater negative impact to our community. We need to give retail and business owners more guidance and what is expected of them beyond the mask mandate.
The two also discussed the impact of the election results around the state. There were not many surprises locally. The Cleveland Municipal School District levy passed as did the County Library.
Infrastructure continues to be a big topic for our state. There is a new development planned in Ohio City near the Detroit-Superior bridge called Bridgeworks. This project includes an 11-story apartment building as well as a hotel complex.
